Cerinte
The specific competences & curricular background we need in relation with this role are:
Romanian language - mandatory;
University graduate -Economics;
Previous experience in the field of taxation, preferably in the banking sector / fiscal consulting company is a plus (2 years);
Relevant knowledge of local tax legislation;
Relevant knowledge of accounting regulations (general accounting principles and practices);
Excellent working skills in Excel tool and good knowledge of English, both written and spoken;
Detailed oriented, good analytical, organization and planning capabilities; deadline commitment;
Excellent communication skills and teamwork;
Proactive attitude, engagement and desire for professional development.
Responsabilitati
As Taxation Senior Officer the main responsibilities are:
Preparation of monthly and annual tax returns (VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax, sponsorship, SAF-T and so on), tax reports (FATCA&CRS, CESOP) and other tax documents to be submitted to the tax authorities;
Review of contracts concluded by the Bank and establish the tax treatment for bank transactions;
Preparation of reports and information used for the Transfer pricing report;
Providing assistance to colleagues from other departments/ bank branches regarding issued invoices, FATCA & CRS legislation, tax number for non-resident customers, sale of properties, other tax related questions;
VAT and withholding tax reconciliation, issuing, recording in accounting and monitoring the collection of invoices issued by the Tax Department;
Registration of invoices in the Purchase Journal and Sales Journal.
Accounting registration, establishing the tax treatment and payment of invoices received from non-resident suppliers;
Registration and payment of taxes owed to the State and Local Budgets.
