Business Analyst

• Aggregate and analyze data to steer the monthly closing, forecasting and annual budget processes within your area of responsibility (PE share of GS portfolio)
• Conduct variance analysis (e.g. actuals vs. budget/forecast) identifying trends and opportunities, and presenting results to senior management of Project Entity and our SE-internal partners/customers (e.g. Execution Unit)
• Act as a business partner, guiding project execution teams through monthly closing and forecasting while paying utmost attention to data quality
• Analyze and challenge business data and trends, providing insightful recommendations for management decisions
• Support the digitalization of business processes by integrating advanced tools
• Drive simplification and harmonization initiatives within the business

• University degree in the i��eld of Finance, Industrial Engineering or comparable vocational training with significant multi year experience in the finance community
• 5+ years of experience in Project Finance (e.g. Project Execution, Sales, Bid Management) or Business Controlling of project business, specifically around closing and forecasting activities
• Ability to lead and empower in complex and uncertain situations
• Knowledge around finance tools and data (Dashboards, Alteryx, SAC knowledge preferred)
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Growth mindset, focus on solutions and willingness to work in a dynamic international environment
• Ability to effectively connect with peers and management
• Business i�?uency in English, Proficiency in German is an advantage
