British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Master Data Specialist in Bucharest

This role is part of GBS Finance, Data management department. The role is responsible for performing master data activities and as well acting as Data Management SME.

Your key responsibilities will include.

• Creation and maintenance of Master Data objects for all British American Shared Services Europe customers in accordance with British American Shared Services Europe Master Data process designs (Intercompany Vendors/Customers, Exchange rates, Treasury).
• Ensuring ad-hoc reports extracted from the system are dealt in line with Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Ensuring timeless, accuracy and completeness of all Master Data; identifying and resolving data quality issues concerning Supplier Invoice Management tables.
• Adherence to the procedure manuals (SOX Controls).
• Monthly / Bi-Annually Cleanse exercises for data objects in scope.

What are we looking for?

• University Degree.
• Good command of English, spoken and written.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office standard pack (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point) and excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Prioritizes own work / understands escalation trigger points (A detailed understanding of the relation with other departments and of the way the activity of this role interferes with other activities).
• Strong knowledge of Master Data internal and global (GPS) procedures and strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and liaise with superiors at all levels and departments, both inside and outside the group.
