    The role's purpose is to contribute to developing an ESG country strategy and action plan with clear KPIs for all business lines and support units. It also involves documenting ESG reporting frameworks at international, European, and local levels, and assisting in the preparation of non-financial performance disclosure documents for PPC companies in Romania, ensuring the organization's compliance with evolving ESG frameworks while enhancing transparency and accountability in sustainability efforts.

    • Documenting ESG reporting frameworks at international, European, and local levels
    • Researching the ESG context relevant to the energy sector at local, European, and international levels, including ESG rating and indexing agencies
    • Analyzing best practices and industry trends relevant to ESG frameworks
    • Contributing to the data collection and preparation of non-financial performance disclosure documents for PPC companies in Romania, in accordance with applicable regulations and as requested by ESG reporting frameworks
    • Contributing to carry out a double materiality analysis
    • Collaborating with key business lines and departments to formulate key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Country Sustainability Plan for all business lines
    • Contributing to setting targets that meet ESG objectives to form a sustainability strategy based on nonfinancial performance, stakeholder data & insights, ESG trends, and legislative changes
    • Contributing to an ESG impacts, risks, and opportunities library, and integrating ESG risks into organizational risk management processes
    • Maintaining an updated calendar of global reporting deadlines and coordinating global and local reporting requirements
    • Preparing internal reports on ESG performance with recommendations for improving performance and preparing intelligence reports on topics most material for the company
    • Developing digital systems for data collection and monitoring internal ESG-related targets
    • Contributing to efforts to promote, inform, and educate on ESG topics within the organization
    • Participating in various team projects internally or with external collaborators
    • Maintaining an up-to-date archive available to the team
    • Contributing to the administrative tasks of the department

    What you'll need to succeed:

    • Previous experience in ESG reporting activities, with a passion for sustainability
    • Higher education in one of the following areas: sustainability, environment, finance, business
    • Master's degree or certification in sustainability is a plus
    • Understanding of global trends, frameworks, standards, and regulatory environments for ESG
    • Ability to collect, analyze, systematize, and clearly communicate data and trends to a varied audience
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing high-quality reports, presentations, and communications for various audiences
    • Practical, results-oriented approach, with the ability to prioritize activities and meet deadlines
    • The ability to interact effectively with multiple stakeholders
    • Team spirit
