    British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a OTC Collection Specialist in Bucharest.

    Order To Cash is a defining part of our company's success, and it also plays a big role in driving the organization's relationship with the customer. It refers to all the steps involved in processing customer orders from the moment a customer places the order to when payment is received and applied to accounts receivable.

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Effective and timely delivery of Order to Cash processes according to the agreed deadlines and in line with audit recommendations
    • Acts as a single point of contact for the teams in terms of process knowledge
    • Seek out new directions and ideas for continuous improvement and provides support for the management team in terms of process automation and improvement initiatives for Credit and Collection.
    • Support Knowledge Management framework in terms of TLD update and Onboarding of new joiners
    • Takes ownership and resolve very sophisticated problems in a way that demonstrates balanced judgment and a continuous improvement approach
    • Resolve complex collection problems and provide assistance in handling highly critical accounts.
    • Provide support for Subject Matter Experts and Team Leader for Order to Cash specific activities
    • Maintain a close relationship with the EM/ Customers and other GBS functions
    • Ensure all controls are in place as per the agreed SLA's and internal procedures
    • Assist in the identification of continuous improvements to the GBS Order to Cash processes
    • Responding to EM queries in a timely and accurate way
    • Makes effort to acquire/ learn further skills / knowledge for personal development
    • Assist in training new colleagues to reduce process mistakes and improve accuracy and efficiency
    • Support the activities in scope for migration to be moved into shared service, in line with the migration framework and plan
    • Closely connect with the End Markets and Order to Cash Teams to ensure end to end process continuity when required
    • Demonstrate resourcefulness by exploring a range of alternatives and options to resolve problems
    • Demonstrates deep understanding of business functions, with an ability to discern relevant business process risks
    • Investigate potential solutions before raising the matter to the upper management
    • Displays a thorough understanding of the relationship between business processes and SAP data
    • Understands what types of reports help the business take decisions regarding the customer's portfolios and provides them when requested by O2C management

    What are we looking for?

    • At least 3 years of experience in a shared services/BPO/ Finance organization with minimum 1.5 years of experience in the O2C/Accounts Receivable area
    • Solid knowledge of the Order to Cash end to end processes and Global Operating Model
    • Solid specific functional knowledge in the Collection and Disputes area, including collection strategies & credit risk policies
    • SAP, HPQC, IT knowledge
    • Experienced user of Microsoft suite of applications (including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc.)
    • Excellent communication skills (e.g., tact/diplomacy, persuasion, collaboration), analytical skills
    • Ability to assess and promptly resolve problems; result-oriented mindset
    • Organized personality with attention to details, able to work simultaneously on different projects, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
    • Problem solving and Communication skills
    • Critical thinking and Customer oriented attitude
    • Solid understanding of FMCG business
    • Demonstrates a positive attitude while focusing on completing tasks or goals
    • Able to work in a team/cross functional
    • Detailed understanding of the cross-departmental impact
    • Ability to work with management to solve business issues and support process improvement initiatives
    • Ability to capture the end-to-end structure of a process and identify any potential bottlenecks to solve them
    • Open to change and working in a high ambiguity environment
    • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
