Requirements

Excellent knowledge of the global information system and IS architecture.
Strong technical skills in systems and networks.
Proficiency with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and MongoDB.
Fluent in the SQL query language.
The database administrator is a key professional in ensuring the consistency, quality and security of the information stored in the company's databases.

Responsibilities

Work with the information system architect to establish database standards and good practices.
Make database implementation decisions according to project specifications.
Define the optimal settings for databases.
Model the base and design tables and keys.
Create databases and implement them on physical media.
Size servers for optimal performance.
Ensuring data availability and quality by optimizing performance and functionality.
Manage access permissions for users and ensure data security.
Perform version migrations and update programs.
Recommend back-ups to ensure data integrity.
