Role Overview:
The Packaging PMO will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Packaging Department by managing all maintenance activities, resources, and processes. You will work closely with various teams to ensure equipment operates at optimal efficiency, aligning with Asahi Way principles and integrated management standards. This position is vital for achieving operational excellence through preventive maintenance, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, and monitor preventive maintenance using the SAP PM and CMMS (Coswin) system to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
Oversee the effective maintenance of all bottling equipment, ensuring adherence to operational and quality standards.
Regularly update the CMMS system and optimize maintenance processes to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Manage the department's maintenance budget, ensuring the efficient use of resources.
Identify critical spare parts (mechanical, electrical, and electronic) and ensure their availability to avoid operational disruptions.
Implement Asahi Way principles within the department and ensure maintenance activities align with these standards.
Train team members in problem-solving methods such as 5 Whys and Systemic Problem Solving. Participate and support situational problem-solving analysis for equipment breakdowns. Assess and rank the 5Whys, sets & deliveres the training sessions for Level 1 and Level 2 team members to fill the gap
Manage the implementation of preventive actions defined under situational problem solving (5 WHYs).
Monitors and reports the progress on the situational problem-solving process.
Implements maintenance standards and requirements in line with planned Maintenance Pllar.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and safety regulations, including FSSC 22000 and ISO 50000.
Lead the implementation and improvement of the LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) program to ensure equipment safety during maintenance.
Conduct regular safety audits and ensure all maintenance activities meet health and safety requirements.
Collaborate with unit managers, team leaders and engineering staff to ensure smooth communication and alignment on maintenance strategies.
Collaborate with national managers from different structures.
Provide timely and accurate maintenance reports to level 1, 2, and 3 teams, ensuring transparency in the department's operations.
Requirements (must have)
University degree in Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering or maintenance, ideally in the food and beverage industry.
Proficiency in using CMMS systems and preventive maintenance tools.
Strong knowledge of ISO systems and continuous improvement practices.
Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.
Intermediate English skills (written and spoken).
