    Qualifications

    Studies:

    • University Diploma 
    • High school Diploma

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Language: English and German;
    • Bachelor Degree;
    • Basic Knowledge about purchasing tools;
    • Data Analysis - proficiency in working in a digital environment;
    • Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking;
    • Basic knowledge of the supply chain (logistics, planning, order, etc.);
    • Competence in negotiation with suppliers;
    • Project management with the capability to efficiently manage multiple projects;
    • Effective listening and communication competence (verbal and written) with stakeholders on various hierarchy levels, good customer orientation and service mindset;
    • Good cross-functional collaboration and commercial mindset;
    • Problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to identify issues, develop solutions & drive results;

    Job Description

    Main objective of the job:                                       

    • Strategic and operational purchasing of assigned scope within indirect (sub-) category.
    • Internal demand and project management as per business requirements to maximize purchasing benefits for Bosch.

    Main attributions and responsibilities:

    • Delivers category and sub-category results;
    • Implements the indirect purchasing processes ensuring compliance requirements;
    • Provide input to and implement global strategies for the defined material field;
    • Prepare and execute tenders (RFI / RFQ);
    • Design negotiation strategies and conduct negotiations with suppliers;
    • Adapts and ensures the specific expertise, including market expertise, sourcing methods and competences within the defined scope;
    • Conduct market analysis to identify market trends, risks and opportunities;
    • Establishes and further develops standard processes and tasks within the defined scope;
    • Drives competition/ further develop and applies negotiation expertise;
    • Prepares and approves purchasing decisions/ contracts in accordance with the signature regulations;
    • IBP (Stakeholder) management as per assigned scope. Build effective relations to internal stakeholders (e.g. technical functions, production maintenance) with the target to ensure early involvement and effective project coordination;
    • Manage suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and quality compliance, incl. supplier data quality, supplier evaluations, contract management;
    • Ensure purchasing master data quality and support process efficiency improvements (e.g. automation of ordering processes via electronic catalogues);
    • Manages escalations;
    • Lean Routines/ CIP methods and tools;
    • Mentorship of assigned suppliers (mainly global suppliers);
    • Reads, understands and applies the procedures from area of responsibility and other interdepartmental procedures, applicable within the company;
    • Fulfils any other tasks related to area of responsibility, as requested by direct superior.
