    Role Description:

    We are looking for a Scrum Master who will be accountable for supporting multiple software engineering teams in delivering product increments aligned to business objectives and strategies. As a Scrum Master you will be also responsible for driving the improvement of the Agile methodologies, ensuring the technical team delivers high quality product.


    Scope of Impact:

    • May lead and be accountable for straight-forward projects and associated teams
    • Provides input to the objectives and goals of the department
    • Responsible for managing own time and responsibilities
    • Participates in complex projects that affect a Business Unit or regional area
    • May train or mentor colleagues


    Strategic Planning & Decision Making:

    • Sets priorities to meet deadlines; develops plans to meet short-term objectives
    • Applies a wide range of policies or standards in straightforward situations
    • Identifies and resolves standard technical and operational problems
    • Decisions involve interpretation of data, planning own work, or refining the methods and techniques to be used

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate the Agile Scrum process and ensure adherence to Scrum principles and practices.
    • Guide and coach, the development team and product owner in self-organizing and cross-functional Agile practices.
    • Promote continuous improvement by identifying and addressing issues, impediments, and bottlenecks.
    • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the development team and across stakeholders.
    • Support the product owner in backlog management, prioritization, and release planning.
    • Conduct Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, retrospective) and ensure their effectiveness.
    • Monitor and report on team performance and progress using Agile metrics and tools.
    • Foster a culture of transparency, feedback, and continuous learning.

    Candidate Profile / Key Skills:

    • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
    • Experience of leading multiple Agile teams, within large scale development programs.
    • Strong understanding of software development processes and practices.
    • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
    • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • Experience with Agile tools and project management software.
    • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) is highly desirable.
    • Knowledge of the financial industry or stock exchange operations is a plus.
