    Role Description:

In this role, you will be joining our Developer Success Team within Engineering Excellence & Productivity (EXP), Infrastructure & Cloud (I&C) as a Developer Enablement Specialist. This team serves as a front door to the Engineering Excellence & Productivity (EXP) engineering, operations, and compliance teams with the key focus of enabling our CT DevOps teams to bring new software or new features to production as quickly as possible.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Knowledge Management System Design & Development - Design, develop and enhance knowledge management systems (across all available venues and tools) to ensure user access to organisational knowledge, technical documentation, best practices, educational materials, and interactive Q&A's.
    • Integrate data from multiple sources into a cohesive and well-structured knowledge base
    • Identify, evaluate, and curate relevant knowledge resources, including articles, research papers, case studies, and standard methodologies.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure the accuracy and relevance of curated content
    • Facilitate knowledge-sharing forums, communities of practice, or discussion groups
    • Track the impact of knowledge adoption initiatives through metrics such as engagement rates, content views, and surveys/user feedback
    • Continuously assess the effectiveness of knowledge dissemination methods and adjust strategies accordingly
    • Provide input and complete strategies to promote knowledge adoption across the organization
    • Maintain a well-organized repository of knowledge assets
    • Facilitate creation, sharing and curation of technical content such as wikis, user guides / manuals, video tutorials and knowledge articles across all available media.
    • Optimize search and retrieval capabilities to help developers quickly find the required information.
    • Deliver training and support to developers on knowledge management tools, ensuring optimal use of the system and promoting knowledge sharing culture.
    • Provide reports on key metrics relevant to knowledge management practices.
    • Handles own workload and promotes an inclusive and open culture.
    • Demonstrates depth of knowledge and expertise in knowledge management and is regarded as the SME in their domain. Develops knowledge of other domains to understand linkages and dependencies.
    • Understands the knowledge management strategy and culture, and how they impact own work as well as adjacent teams.
    • Oversees the design work and planning for user journeys ensuring they achieve the desired objectives.
    • Supports the creation of solutions for Epics and the associated implementation tasks.
    • Develops understanding of LSEG's commercial direction and how technology and knowledge management is forming a part of this.
    • Completes the delivery of given tasks with limited guidance and oversight.
    • Builds strong relationships with senior internal collaborators, growing network and collaborating with own team and colleagues in other domains. Communicates complex information clearly to relevant audiences.
    • Takes initiative to develop knowledge in technology products and tools through on the job learning, certifications, and projects.
    • Must interact with global teams in time zones spanning UK, US, APAC areas.
    • Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services--from inception and design, through to deployment, operation, and refinement.
    • Participate in Project related activities to meet operational needs.
    • To ensure knowledge management artifacts of all supported systems are continuously updated.
    • To provide the highest level of customer service, whilst working under pressure.
    • To follow and adhere to established Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management procedures.

    Tech Profile/Essential Skills:

    • Knowledge Management Tools (ex. Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, Stack Overflow), including Administration and Configuration
    • PPM Tools (ex. Asana, Jira, Clarity)
    • Presentation Delivery Tools (ex. MS PowerPoint, Lucid Chart).
    • Desired experience in conducting surveys (NPS) and organizing unique events (Hackathons, Workshops), and knowledge management campaigns.
    • Desired experience with Video Editing and Publishing
    • Solid understanding of taxonomy, metadata, and information architecture principles
    • Ability to analyse data usage patterns and optimize the knowledge management system based on insights.
    • Understanding of DevOps / DevSecOps Principles including CI/CD
    • Understanding of fundamentals of Developer Tools (ex: GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
    • General understanding of Databases
    • Previous experience in a Project delivery, Coordination or Support role
    • Previous experience in Knowledge Management in support of Software Development, Business and Technical Analysis, Quality Assurance, and / or Emerging Technology and Governance.

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • Hands-On experience of working with Confluence, SharePoint and Stack Overflow
    • Hands-On experience of working with PPM Tools (ex. Asna, Jira, Clarity) and Presentation Delivery Tools (ex. MS PowerPoint, Lucid Chart, etc.)
    • Hands-On experience in creating, editing and distributing user communications covering technical and non-technical events and processes.
    • Hands-On experience in scripting language, preferably Python
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English with all levels of staff, both orally and written.
    • Ability to manage own work and multitask to meet tight deadlines without losing sight of priorities under minimum supervision.
    • Highly motivated, self-directed individual with a positive & pro-active attitude to work.
    • Customer and service focused, with determination to meet their needs and expectations.
    • Be driven and committed to the goals and objectives of the team and organization.

    Education and Professional Skills:

    • Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent experience
    • Curious about new technologies and tools, creative thinking and initiative taking.
    • Solid, literary English editing/reading/writing capability required.
    • Good communication & collaboration skills.
    • Commitment to DevOps/DevSecOps culture.
    • Familiarity with Agile principles including any hand on experience.
