British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Material Technologist in Ploiesti.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Approves development or changes in the materials from factory perspective.
• Analyses technical specifications of the new/ modified machines to align material specifications with machine capability.
• Coordinates regional initiatives related with material complexity reduction.
• Assures support for new product development/ transfers to & from factory by analysing the material specifications.
• Monitors the material runnability to identify and solve the problems associated with materials/ machines/ operators/ suppliers.
• Measures the supplier performance.
• Creates the material nonconformity reports and notifies the suppliers about all nonconformities.
• Ensure that the claims are solved (Corrective and preventive actions are communicated and implemented by suppliers).

What are we looking for?

• High school graduate (mechanical or technical)
• At least one year experience with data base operation role.
• Good PC skills.
• Experience with ERP ("Material management" / "Production planning" / "Specifications and Bill of materials")
• Medium level of English knowledge.
