    A snapshot of your day
    At our Competence Center in Bucharest, a typical day for a Logistics Process Operator is dynamic and impactful.
    You start by coordinating transport orders to ensure timely deliveries, selecting the best transportation methods and are in constant communication with logistics service providers.
    Collaboration is key as you work closely with Siemens Energy locations to align logistics schedules and resolve any challenges. You'll create and handle essential shipping documents, ensuring everything aligns with regulations.
    Using advanced tracking systems, you'll monitor shipments in real-time, providing updates and swiftly addressing any issues. By the end of the day, you'll review your accomplishments and plan for the next day's operations.
    Additionally, you'll be an integral part of our ongoing digitization initiative, demonstrating innovative technologies to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
    How You will Make an Impact
    • Preparation of complete set of documents for transport ordering and customs declaration
    • Observing specifics for dangerous goods transport where necessary and clarification of documents with all involved business partners
    • Ordering of Transports according to dates, preferred carriers and transportation contracts and arrange for goods pickup at supplier with all transport modes
    • Perform order to invoice verification for 3PL services and preparation of documents (Intrastat) for statistics administration
    • Coordination of dispatch activities based on defined logistics concepts
    • Information to all relevant parties on transport details and current status, supporting process optimization and holding carrier liable and clarifying discrepancies (damages, delays etc.)
    What You Bring
    • Bachelor in a business field (supply chain, logistics or similar) or education with relevant work experience alternatively and e.g forwarding agent/Manager
    • Advanced experience in Transportation Management covering all modes (air, sea, ground, processing, project logistics)
    • Experience in handling Logistics Services is already gained by ensuring accurate, on time and economical delivery services to suit customer needs and/or meet internal project requirements
    • Preferably knowledge in export processes and documents
    • High analytical ability, customer & solution orientation as well as your social competence, assertiveness and a high organizational & team ability are further elements of your set of skills
    • Above average communication skills to stay informed, to collaborate and to distribute all relevant information to internal & external business partners e.g. internal and external suppliers, project management, logistics providers
    • Excellent communication skills throughout all levels in the organization in English (spoken and written); German is a plus
    • Proficient MS Office skills (Excel, Teams Word etc.), and basic knowledge in SAP
    • Availability to work from our Bucharest office 3 days per week, with 2 days remote
