As a Payroll Specialist, you will have the opportunity to:

- Work closely with regional HR, Country HR, Finance and external Payroll Vendor to ensure correctness of data, as well as with internal and external auditors, when needed

-Review Payroll processes, procedures, making changes while ensuring adequate controls are in place and followed
-Ensure that all procedures are thoroughly documented and include proper checklists to ensure all essential process steps are followed

-Recommend improvements to the Payroll process, as well as standardization of current Payroll definitions across Europe.

-Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

-Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases / data systems

-Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets

-Monthly identification of labor cost reporting gap between HR and Finance system and report it in a standardized format

-Coordinate data transfer from Corporate Office to subsidiary for expatriates

Responsabilitati

Your profile:

-Excellent English, both written and verbal
-Relevant experience in managing Payroll activities for a Romanian or other European company, preferably in a Shared Services Centre environment
-Ability to read, interpret, and act on Payroll professional standards and procedures
-Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel; intermediate level required
-Ability to understand and use various HR systems
-Continuous improvement mindset
-Strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate at several levels of internal management across the region
-Very good analytical, organizational skills and strong attention to details
-Previous experience with Workday HR system or managing interfaces would be considered a plus
