Credit Management Analyst

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Credit Management Analyst, you will be responsible for handling daily credit transactions and month-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and other relevant regulations. Working within a team of experts, your role includes resolving accounting issues, analyzing errors, initiating corrections, and contributing to process improvements, with support from the Credit Management Senior Analyst when needed. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including regional accounting hubs and business teams, actively listening to their needs, addressing complex operational issues, and taking ownership of decisions. Additionally, you will share best practices to enhance overall efficiency.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Providing Credit Limit Recommendations where automated solution is not in use
• Monitoring credit limits
• Providing input to release blocked sales orders
• Analyzing and assessing the financial statements and credit history of existing and potential new customers
• Review credit applications, obtain decisions on Credit Limit Recommendations to appropriate senior / management level
• Implement policies associated to Credit Management activities, e.g. local country credit policy and wider global company credit policies and procedures

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or relevant working experience in Credit Management
• Experience in the field of Credit Management & Finance Operations
• Basic knowledge of accounting
• Basic knowledge of IFRS accounting is preferable
• Good MS-Office skills (especially in MS-Excel)
• Understanding of business processes in SAP
