A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Senior Frontend Developer in our Digital Platforms and Solutions organization, you will be responsible for building backend core services that will be reused by customer-facing digital products and internal applications at Siemens Energy.

You will collaborate with software architects and other developers in an international team, supported by an experienced cloud operations team.

Utilizing modern software development frameworks and AI-boosted productivity tools, your goal is to create software core services that streamline the development and deployment of software solutions across the digital Energy value chain.

Build frontend core services and solutions to enhance our digital software business backbone. Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

What You Bring

• Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Software Development and Architecture.
• Ability to deliver rapidly and reliably with the highest quality standards.
• Passion for problem-solving, building, and self-improvement.
• Consultant / communication / explanation skills, preferrable for platform offered solutions
• Ability to understand, document and present technical problems and possible solutions to partner teams and stakeholders
• Curious, passionate about problem solving, building and self-improving
• Experience in agile development.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience working with international teams and stakeholders from different cultures.

Technical Skills

• Experience in JavaScript, with beneficial experience in TypeScript and DevOps.
• Experience with modern single-page applications (SPA) frameworks.
• Expertise in the latest version of React and/or Flutter.
• Proficiency with version control (Gitlab) and tools like Confluence and Jira.
• Ability to design and develop user-centric designs from wireframes to high-definition/resolution sketch prototypes.
• Experience with relational/data warehouse databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake).
• Knowledge of microservices-based architectures.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-agnostic development (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with API design and development for RESTful services.
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems, command-line tools, and scripting.
• Experience with additional languages like Java is a plus.
• Familiarity with orchestration services, network discovery, and management services is a plus.
• Experience with HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, React is a plus.
