    PROFILE

    Experienced and progressive medical director in priority
    Minimum 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally dermo-cosmetic market
    Experience in medical visit & medical team management, with proven results
    Very good knowledge of business, financial
    Excellent relational skills
    Working knowledge of data analysis and performance indicators.
    Ability to design and implement the organization’s operational model, and budgeting skills
    Demonstrated strategic thinking, and « game changing » mindset
    University studies in the scientific field (pharmacy/biology)

    Business Unit Manager Romania



    MISSIONS

    Propose, plan and monitor the medical promotional strategy
    Interact regularly with the International Medical Affairs Manager at Headquarters to propose & plan a local medical strategy, consistent with the international one, and bringing added value in the relationship with doctors
    Segment the existing medical targets according their profile and potential
    Recruit & develop new medical targets (general practitioners, pediatricians, etc.)
    Define and make validate by the BUM the local medical visit strategy: targets, objectives, strategy (cycles, messages per target), budget, promotional plan and main KPIs
    Define and make validate by the BUM the medical out-of-visit strategy, by developing, federating and animating the medical community: KOL, OL, prescribers. Fix the objectives per target, the strategy (local medical events, organization of dermatological congresses, validation of physician sponsorship, new major events with potential prescribers, other initiatives), budget, promotional plan and main KPIs
    Analyze the regularly performance of the strategy and action plan, for continuous improvement, and share the diagnosis with headquarters, as well as feedbacks on tools and services
    Execute and monitor the medical promotional activities
    Deploy the 360° headquarters Marketing campaigns, focusing on the medical targets
    Execute & control the local Promotional Plan
    Coordinate the use of promotional material in accordance with the company’s regulations
    Assign and control prescription quotas by area, sales representative, doctor and product.
    Visit key prescribers.
    Provide support to prescribers in carrying out different scientific and/or promotional events.
    Organize the activities or events that the line requires (launches, micromarketing, workshops, meetings with doctors, etc…)
    Supervise the management of the Medical Representatives team
    Guide collaborators in charge of the assigned tasks and control their performance .
    Enforce the different guidelines: punctuality, schedules and presence of the medical representatives in charge.
    Schedule and control compliance with the daily, weekly and cycle work routes of medical representatives based on established guidelines.
    Control the daily report of the Medical Visitors in the medical visit system.
    Control coverage and frequency of medical visits, pharmacies, and points of sale.
    Control the itinerary and travel expenses of medical representatives
    Supervise the management of visits to doctors and ensure that the visit standard required by the company is met.
    Control the appropriate use of promotional materials, tablets and visual aids.
    Carry out field trips individually and with the Medical Visit staff (dual visit)
    Prepare and deliver the dual visit report to the BUM.
    Approve or reject new doctors and/or modifications to medical panels
    Control the management, use and application, by the Medical Representatives, of the information reports
    Lead annual meetings, and daily exchanges with the representatives
    Consolidate and analyze annual, quarterly and monthly KPIs
    Ensure the development of the teams: skills upgrade, coaching
    Plan the delivery of medical samples to Medical Representatives.
    Control the delivery of original and small medical samples, according to what is established in the promotional guideline and their report in the medical visit system.
    Give instructions to Medical Visitors on the use of promotional material.
    Coordinate the delivery of promotional material to visitors in different areas.
    Train and evaluate the Medical Representatives:
    Interact regularly with the International Training Manager at Headquarters to reach best-in-class trainings
    Coordinate local training for medical representatives, in accordance with the marketing strategy, using the appropriate material validated by the company headquarters
    Train medical representatives to reinforce scientific topics so that they master the dermatological information (pathology, skin biology), as well as characteristics and benefits of the products.
    Train medical sales representatives to reinforce sales techniques and use of work tools.
    Carry out evaluations of medical representatives
    Monitor the proper use of the company training tools by the Medical representative teams.
    Prepare reports for the Commercial Head and General Manager of the company on the performance of the collaborators under their charge (coverage, punctuality, knowledge, sales techniques, extra contributions, etc.).
    Detect the skills and encourage the professional development of medical sales representatives.
    Keep your staff motivated.
    Competition Monitoring:
    Regularly monitor and analyze competitor activities, including new product launches, marketing strategies, and partnerships within the dermatological sector.
    Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the management team to counteract competitive threats and capitalize on market opportunities.
    Stay informed about technological advancements and regulatory changes that may impact the competitive landscape.
