Working Student - Logistics Services

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Working Student for Logistics Services in our Competence Center in Bucharest, you will provide comprehensive support to your colleagues on various topics. Your main tasks will include ordering transports, creating transport documents, and performing track & trace activities. You will also be responsible for informing all relevant parties about transport details and current status, as well as communicating with our Logistics Service Providers and Siemens Energy locations. How you'll make an impact

• Ordering of Transports based on defined dates, preferred carriers and transportation contracts
• Preparation of complete set of documents for transport ordering and customs declaration
• Clarification of documents with all involved internal and external business partners
• Arrange for goods pickup at supplier with all transport modes
• Coordination of dispatch activities based on defined logistics concepts
• Information to all relevant parties on transport details and current status
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives related to logistics operations
• Supporting process optimization

What you bring

• Ongoing studies in supply chain, logistics or similar, ideally at the end of Bachelor or beginning of Master Studies
• Excellent MS Office 365 skills (PowerPoint, SharePoint)
• Quick comprehension of complex issues and solution-oriented thinking when facing obstacles and resistance
• Teamwork, communication skills, result orientation, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to work 6-8 hours per day
