IT Systems Automation Engineer

As a Systems Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in automating and optimizing our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain automated solutions that enhance critical infrastructure systems' reliability and efficiency.

• Developing and implementing automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, and Bash to streamline the deployment of systems and features.
• Automate the installation, configuration, and deployment of Virtual Machines and applications.
• Analyze IT system requirements to create effective automation designs
• Developing automated security tests and simulations to ensure the systems work as intended
• Working closely with different departments to implement and optimize security features
• Document processes, procedures, and automation workflows using collaboration tools

• University degree in computer science, electrical engineering, information technology, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
• Proven experience in system administration, Windows, and Linux
• Experience with containerization technologies
• Proficiency in the deployment of monitoring and logging tools
• Experience with network automation tools is a plus
• Ability to work in a self-guided and result-oriented way, with a clear desire to become an acknowledged technical expert in your own area of expertise
• Proficient in spoken and written English, German is a plus
