    As a Global Commodity Manager at Siemens Energy, you will play a pivotal role in developing and aligning a resilient ecosystem strategy for our mandated commodities, with a specific focus on HR Services such as talent acquisition, recruiting, training and payroll functions. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, you will ensure our sourcing processes are both effective and efficient.     How You'll Make an Impact
    • Strategic Leadership: Define and implement a comprehensive commodity and sourcing strategy with a specific focus on HR Services, including Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Learning and Payroll.
    • Value Creation: Partner with business stakeholders, transferring business needs to procurement solutions and influencing business stakeholders to incorporate sourcing strategies as part of decision-making processes
    • Contract Expertise: Lead and own the preparation, negotiation, and awarding of global contracts for strategic and core suppliers, ensuring alignment with business and market requirements.
    • Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to meet Siemens Energy's demands and requirements.
    • Risk Management: Identify procurement risks and opportunities, proactively addressing potential challenges and capitalizing on opportunities.
    • Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing improvement of managed spend and achieve identified savings within your area of responsibility.
    • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to jointly draft RFPs, define negotiation strategies, and execute them to achieve excellent negotiation results
    • Vision and Leadership: Provide vision, strategy, and functional expertise to all SE stakeholders, acting as a role model of ownership, innovation, and change based on Siemens Energy's values and strategy.
    • Team Development: Coordinate and manage a virtual cross-functional team to achieve optimal contract conditions and generate savings in sourcing & outsourcing projects
    • Commodity Structure: Support in defining commodity structure and in collaboration with the Strategic Procurement organization and respective stakeholders.
    • Ecosystem Strategy: Develop a forward-looking commodity ecosystem strategy to create additional value, based on business needs, in close alignment with business and commodity circles.
    • Network Utilization: Utilize an enhanced Commodity Circle network to ensure the implementation of strategies.
    • Supplier Involvement: Provide competitive advantage for the entire range of Siemens Energy businesses through early procurement/supplier involvement and cost-out activities.
    • Market Analysis: Conduct supply/supplier market analysis, supplier scouting, and incorporate findings into the ecosystem strategy.
    • Knowledge Sharing: Feedback supplier market information and knowledge to stakeholders within Siemens Energy through the network

    What You Bring
    • Educational Background: Bachelor's, Master's, or MBA degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Law, or a related field.
    • Experience: Over 5 years of experience in procurement, ideally within a global organization, with a proven track record of success and, most importantly ??? a passion for negotiation and winning.
    • Expertise: Strong commercial and technical understanding of procurement, project management, and international contract law.
    • Leadership: Experience in functional leadership and project management, with at least 2 years of leading multinational teams and project teams.
    • Skills: Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to work in multicultural teams and communicate with senior stakeholders.
    • Language Proficiency: Proficient in English (written and spoken); German is a plus.
    • Flexibility: Availability to work from the Siemens Energy office 2-3 days per week.
    • Strategic thinkers with a passion for procurement and supply chain management.
    • Strong negotiators with a proven track record of building and maintaining supplier relationships.
    • Innovators who can identify and capitalize on opportunities for improvement and value creation.
