British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Planning Analyst in Bucharest.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Constantly monitors the stock levels and inventory health reports, performs root cause analysis and monitors the execution of the production plan;
- Ensure stocks visibility for new projects and transitions;
- Ensure the volumes are correctly updated in the systems;
- Check/prepare the monthly deployment file based on the weekly estimated volumes;
- Track productions, changes, updates and escalate any risks observed during the process;
- Check stocks, highlight out of stocks risks or overstock risks/high stocks that might lead to write off, adjust production/deliveries based on actuals and forecast, propose updates in the demand plan;
- Perform root cause analysis for out of stocks and deviations from the demand plan, production plan, loading plan, etc
- Ensure alignment between Production and SPI plan - on time in full capturing of realistic/green line forecast in APO; prompt highlighting OOS/overstock, materials and FG exposures, as well as other issues to ensure time for reaction;
- Ad-hoc cross-department collaborations in order to reflect new market realities as fast as possible in Kinaxis / APO in order to minimize potential w/offs or avoid OOS;
- Assist LM in consolidation and preparation of all area / local meetings S&I, Area S&I, CFT, DRM, Trade and SSC Reviews, any other relevant meetings.
What are we looking for?
Experience Required
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain planning.
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
- In-depth knowledge of advanced statistical and forecasting techniques. Able to build and validate relational models.
- Depth understanding and integration in the forecasting process, of all information sources obtained through consumer and trade research: e.g. key deliverables and their limitations, root cause analysis, etc.
- Experience in data analysis, interpreting Marketing data and presenting conclusions to senior management.
- High level of attention to detail, high analytical skills, ability to make decisions on a rational basis, objectivity, creativity, and good negotiation skills. A high level of interpersonal skills and involvement in teamwork is essential.
- Effective communication & presentation skills in order to deliver a clear and concise message to key stakeholders;
Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
- University degree or tertiary education
- Fluent English & Romanian language ability
- Valid driver's license
