Role Description:

In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts and partners to create impactful learning experiences that drive individual and organisational capability across Engineering at LSEG, whilst enabling an innovative learning technology ecosystem that provides a seamlessly and engaging experience for the learners.

A key part of the role will be to drive a seamlessly and attractive learning experience for our engineers, whilst embedding a consistent narrative across our offerings and solutions. For that purpose, you will be working closely with the Learning & Development (L&D) team and key business partners to design the learner experience and develop content, comms, eLearning, videos, simulations, animations, 360 environments, sandboxes, and any other media and graphic components for learning solutions. You will seek out opportunities to find efficiencies and value incorporating AI and approaches to simplify and enhance the LSEG engineer learning experience.

In addition, the Learning Experience & Design Specialist will establish design standard methodologies for L&D. You will also act as coach and mentor to other learning champions and business partners with a commitment to maintaining organizational excellence.

Your efforts will be crucial in championing a continuous learning environment globally for the Engineering division through the implementation of adoption and engagement campaigns addressing key experience pain points.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with strategic areas across Engineering, HR and the business, as well as vendor teams and ecosystem partners, to design and implement the learning experience and products.

• Implements learning solutions, which includes curating learning journeys, creating immersive learning, deploying learning technology solutions, conducting skill assessment, measuring the impact of learning, and more.

• Supports the creation of learning content and learning experience tools and enablers (assessments, reports, comms, etc.)

• Apply instructional design theories, models, and standard methodologies to create engaging and effective learning experiences.

• Develop learning objectives, outlines, storyboards, scripts, assessments, and other instructional materials. Select and utilise appropriate technologies, tools, and delivery methods.

• Evaluate learning programs and collect feedback to enhance continuous improvement.

• Stay updated on trends and innovations in instructional design, adult learning theories, and learning technologies.

• Embrace advanced design tools enabling AI.

• Coordinate with vendors for content needs and collaborate with subject matter experts and build relationships with partners.

• Coordinate with vendors working with Procurement renewals and participate in new vendor solution review.

• Supports the Engineering divisions to understand how they can re-design their learning programmes and current products to sustain the changes and ensure they continuously have the experience they need to meet their evolving skilling ambitions.

• Generates ideas on how to apply new learning and AI solutions, products and design market trends to constantly innovate with Engineering groups.

• Manages the digital credentials/badging platform and associated data.

• Designs user interface of learning solutions.

• Assist in the continuous improvement of the LXP and suite of learning platforms to ensure a user experience that inspires a continuous learning culture and supports our learning academies.

• Maximises internal and external ecosystem partners for the Intelligence, Experience, and Content components of the learning solution.
