Requirements

In this role, you will supervise the daily activities of the accounting and taxation department. You will also monitor the prepared financial and accounts reports to ensure they are accurate and comply with the company’s accounting policies.

Your profile

At least 5+ years of experience in management and leading an accounting team.
Must have: Proven management experience in leading accounting services firms.
Previous experience with prestigious BIG4 companie-ideally.
Solid professional background with expertise in accounting and taxation.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
Proficiency in ERP accounting software (e.g., Exact, Navision).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting with all levels of the organization.
A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Conversational level of English.
Proven experience with financial forecasting and risk analysis.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Experience in preparing financial statements and reports
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead and mentor team members.
Familiarity with international accounting standards (IFRS).
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial modeling.
Demonstrated ability to implement and improve financial processes.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Professional affiliations or certifications (CEECAR, CCF, ACCA) are highly valued.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Craft Financial Strategies: Develop our company’s financial and accounting policies, workflows, and methods in collaboration with finance leaders.
Team Leadership: Leading a team of accountants handling our client portfolio.
Budget Oversight: Oversee the budget for the accounting and taxation department.
Maintain Standards: Ensure proper accounting methods, policies, and principles are adhered to.
Task Assignment: Assign accounting tasks or projects to team members.
Set Procedures: Establish work procedures to streamline our processes.
Client Coordination: Coordinate the preparation of client files, detailing specific work procedures and unique elements for each client.
Optimize Efficiency: Review time spent on client work and find ways to improve efficiency.
Client Payments: Handle making payments on behalf of clients.
Client Relationship Management: Manage relationships to ensure top-notch service and identify additional collaboration opportunities.
Team Evaluation: Conduct evaluations of team members to ensure high performance.
Stay Updated: Prepare and share legislative updates relevant to the field.
Tax and Report Support: Assist in preparing tax returns and accounting reports.
Legal Compliance: Avoid legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation, enforcing accounting regulations, and recommending new procedures.
