Role Description
LSEG Analytics' Modelling Solutions team is seeking a Senior Manager based in Bucharest to lead the Generative AI proposition for LSEG Analytics. This role is a critical link between clients and the wider business, ensuring development and execution of the roadmap is fully aligned with clients' expectations and thus ensuring successful commercial products. The role is required to support multiple elements of the LSEG business from Analytics as a service (AaaS), Modelling as a Service (MaaS) through to LSEG desktop products such as Workspace.
The successful candidate will work within the wider Analytics Proposition team and will liaise closely with Product Management, Quant and Content teams, Engineering, Sales, Relationship Management, Marketing and Research.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the strategy related to GenAI within LSEG Analytics, through absorbing requirements from market participants, establishing commercial viability and designing a strategic long-term roadmap;
- Provision of AI-related business requirements to other strategy leads, product and engineering teams to collaborate on requirements, project sequencing and deliveries;
- Identify and complete commercial opportunities related to AI through extensive client relationships created both individually and through connections at LSEG
- Oversight of and accountability for AI project delivery to clients, tracking KPIs on a regular basis, feeding into Monthly Business Reviews and other divisional and Group level reporting
- Collaboration with sales and marketing to ensure a successful commercialisation of the work including through thought leadership, webinars, conferences, and sales events.
- Develop long and short-term strategic plans and work with the annual planning cycle, including long and short-term roadmap planning for strategic and BAU projects to ensure growth and resiliency.
- Engage with senior clients on new product prototypes, new product roadshows and existing product suite.
- Collaborate with internal teams for new and existing synergy opportunities.
- Maintain close working relationships with business leaders and other stakeholders on an ongoing basis to assess the delivery and effectiveness of existing initiatives and develop new initiatives and approaches where necessary
- Work within the broader LSEG team to identify resources and opportunities to help drive projects that will resonate with clients
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, and experience in working in and leading complex teams in-person and virtually;
Candidate profile/Key skills:
- 7+ years experience in a business role related to AI in the Financial or Technology sectors
- Highly commercial mentality
- Deep understanding of AI Systems and development cycles, with ability to communicate to a wide variety of stakeholders
- Excellent skills in building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, collaborating with vendors for strategic project delivery
- Excellent presentation skills, experienced with speaking with clients and to audiences of 100+
- Supports open communication within the team, acts on feedback.
- Support strong organizational culture of mentoring, delegation, collaboration.
- Maturity to dealing with challenging situations, with a positive and resilient attitude
- Consistently deliver timely and high quality of work
- Work well individually, but also as part of a team
- Ability to balance multiple initiatives simultaneously, whilst preserving quality of delivery
- Take an organised, well-researched and thoughtful approach to work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- BA, BS or Master's degree or equivalent experience
