Requirements

Education: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with a strong academic record (Master’s degree is a plus).
Expertise: Qualified lawyer, or a legal counsel with 5+ years of experience, preferably in a professional services firm. Relevant experience in operations specific to commercial companies, such as dealings with the Trade Register, commercial contracts, and conducting complex transactions.
Skills:
- Profound knowledge and experience in the following areas of law: civil law and corporate law.
- Advanced skills in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Organized, detail-oriented, with strong time management.
- Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset, team player, and proactive attitude
Languages: Fluency in Romanian and English, both written and spoken. Excellent communication skills.
Tech-savviness: Proficient in MS Office, especially Word (advanced level).

Responsibilities

Ensuring that all company rules, regulations, and procedures comply with applicable legislation.
Conducting legal research and providing updates on legislative developments relevant to the business.
Offering consultancy and internal advice on various legal matters, such as regulatory compliance, public procurement regulations, data protection and AML (Anti-Money Laundering).
Participating in meetings and negotiations with business partners and other stakeholders.
Proposing risk mitigation strategies and ensuring the implementation of legal risk management measures.
Reviewing legal and other relevant documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
Preparing and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, addendums, and legal memoranda.
Handling dispute settlements and monitoring the enforcement of contractual and legal clauses.
Preparing reports and updates for management, as required.
Managing various operations related to the Trade register.
