Joining the ranks of the existing development teams in Orange County, Montreal, San Diego and Seattle, we're excited to expand Amazon Games' commitment to creating and publishing incredible games, and we're on the lookout for talented folks to join us as we grow.

    We are looking for an experienced quality assurance professional with a track record of delivering QA services on both in development & live titles. In this role, you will closely collaborate with development teams and QA partners, and coordinate gameplay testing & polish effort on specific game areas, through test strategies, test executions & defect reporting. It's an opportunity to set a functional quality benchmark on Amazon Games titles.

    Key job responsibilities
    o Contribute to game test strategy, analyze game scope and features, drive and deliver test plans creation with value based test cases on assigned game areas.
    o Partner with game teams and Dev QA, and sync on design intents and quality expectations on assigned game areas.
    o Integrate automation solutions and available test and game data in test strategy, resource planning and test executions on assigned game areas
    o Deliver complete testing coverage, ensure the reporting of all quality defects on assigned game areas with high accuracy and efficiency
    o Contribute to internal project reports, highlighting defect patterns and quality risks on assigned game areas
    o Constantly self review and deep dive on QA partners activity on assigned game areas, obsessing over defects diversity, their quality and accuracy in providing actionable insights for Production teams.
    o Support & train assigned QA partners on efficient debugging and test coverage, defect impact analysis and root cause analysis for defects on the owned game areas.

    At Amazon Games, our ambition is to create bold new experiences that foster community in and around our games. Our team of game industry veterans is developing and publishing live service AAA multiplayer games and developing original IPs, including New World: Aeternum and an upcoming title based on The Lord of the Rings, with our studios and teams in Seattle, Orange County, San Diego, Montreal, and Bucharest. Amazon Games also publishes best-in-class games in close collaboration with developers, leading with Lost Ark from Smilegate RPG, THRONE AND LIBERTY from NCSOFT, and King of Meat from Glowmade, as well as the next major entry in the Tomb Raider series from Crystal Dynamics.

    Basic qualifications

    - Experience in quality assurance teams management
    - Experience in QA, in the Games industry, with evidenced Triple A HD titles testing on a variety of platforms (PC & consoles)
    - Experience in shipping titles from a QA team lead position, across a variety of game areas
    - Deep knowledge of QA test practices for the full development life cycle, including test strategy definition, test plans & test cases creation, JIRA management, resource investment and test executions monitoring.
    - Excellent English written and verbal skills.

    Preferred qualifications

    - Experience in communicating with development teams across all job functions to collect feature design intentions and quality expectations and translate that into test strategy and test plans.
    - Experience in mentoring/coaching QA profiles to improve their skills, and make them more effective.
