Software Engineer for Complex Device Drivers

We are searching for a senior software developer to join our group for Battery Management Systems software. Come an get involved in the development of new Low Voltage and High Voltage Battery products.

We had created a core team of software engineers to manage projects for our increasingly demanded Battery Management Systems.

Battery Management Systems (BMS) are control systems used for batteries of high voltage hybrid and electric vehicles. As a core component, the BMS is integrated into the Li-Ion battery and manages all its functions. Based on collected system data, the cells are individually balanced and operated under safe conditions.

As complex device driver developer, you will create new and update software components and perform the following tasks.

• Read and understand electronical schematics;
• Perform classical software development tasks (requirements engineering, design, implementation, unit verification and integration) in projects that follow agile software development practices;
• Regularly report the status of development;
• Collaborate with other experienced international software engineers;
• Exchange technical expertise with other engineers in a multidisciplinary wider team (System, HW, SW).

• University degree in a relevant field (Automation and Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication, Informatics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics etc.)
• Good programming skills for embedded systems (C language)
• Knowledge of electronics and microcontrollers
• Knowledge of embedded applications
• Good knowledge of AUTOSAR BSW architecture
• SW debugging skills
• Fluent communication in English
• Previous work experience in a relevant field (minimum 4 years)
