Requirements

TECHNICAL SKILLS YOU WILL BE USING IN YOUR DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES:

SQL - work with a multidimensional model and the OLAP concepts; work with complex data flows: create data processings and calculations via stored procedures and specific functionalities, data loads via ETL processes with complex data transformation parts.


Tagetik – WEB interface and Excel Add-In Reporting interface:

WEB Platform with many functionalities for the automation of financial activities that sits on top of a SQL database.

Excel Add In with complex functionalities for data exploration and reporting


WHAT SKILLS ARE NEEDED?

You have a Bachelor or MSc degree in IT or Business/ Accounting.

You have previous relevant experience (5+ years) with creating data flows, analyzing data patterns, and working with numbers.

Excellent knowledge of Excel is required.

Finance/accounting/financial management systems and business process knowledge including some of the following: budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, internal reporting, management dashboards and statutory reporting.

You have average/intermediate SQL skills (joins, subqueries, analytic functions)

You are proficient in English. Any other language is a plus.

You have excellent communication skills

Outside of Corona times, you have availability for traveling – 25% to 30% during the year.

Responsibilities

The first step of the journey will be to become independent with the CCH Tagetik platform. You will receive a 2 to 3 months formal on-boarding, access to a big knowledge base, a mentoring process and ongoing access to the knowledge of our team members.

You will be working in a team of consultants at various levels of proficiency.

You will constantly need to translate business requirements into a data flow that you design and then you implement by using SQL/ CCH Tagetik functionalities.

You will be interacting with clients all over the world and get firsthand knowledge of how each industry works.

You will take full responsibility for the tasks assigned to you in order to complete the implementation in a timely manner and in the most efficient possible way.

Sometimes you might need to create technical/ user documentations, deliver trainings or presentations for the project you are assigned on

You always need to be curious and stay on top of new best practices, technical solutions, and latest patches. You need to come up with innovative solutions to the project technical and business problems. We appreciate a person that thinks outside of the box and is not afraid to trial and error until they find the best solution for the technical problem at hand.
