    Requirements

    We think you’ll be best geared for success if you can meet the following requirements:
    • At least 2 years of display, social or DOOH experience and you want to discover new advertising channels with us.
    • Background in DV360, programmatic, first party data and data-driven working.
    • Knowledge of Python & SQL or eager to learn (would be a plus).
    • Knowledge of digital ad management systems (e.g. ad servers, DSPs, audiences)
    • Experience with ad booking, optimization and/or project management in media industry.

    Responsibilities

    As Campaign Specialist, you will be managing incoming media campaign requests, responsible for planning, preparation (in the first phase incl. audience selection) and campaign execution and reporting after execution (ad operations) for the Media Entity. The focus and satisfaction in this role is the execution of project activities: define, prepare, lead and execute projects, in close collaboration with stakeholders, around on- & off-site campaigns, in line with business and client needs, project management methods and techniques, in order to ensure high quality, timely and effective delivery of objectives, contributing to client satisfaction.

    You will be joining our Retail Media department. Ahold Delhaize has recognized that Retail Media, also called The 3rd Wave (after Search and Social Media), as an opportunity. We started with retail media in Europe 10 years ago at Albert Heijn. Since then, we have seen continuous double-digit growth in the Benelux, driven by Albert Heijn Media Services (AHMS) and Bol.com Retail Media (BRM). Both are considered pioneers in retail media, with an innovative edge and an impressive collection of privacy-proof first-party data.

    Key responsibilities of your role.
    You will work with the best media partners and creative agencies with, usually, large budgets. You understand better than anyone how important it is that the internal objectives as well as the client’s objectives are achieved. It is up to you to continuously monitor; How effective are the campaigns? What is going well? What can be done better? Where are adjustments needed? In other words: you aim for the right balance between reach, ACF, traffic and conversion.

    Your role is highly diverse and encompasses various responsibilities. Here are the key ones:
    • Set up exceptional and impactful display, DOOH, social and video campaigns with first-party data
    • You will define deliverables, scope, timelines, and milestones together with the client. Throughout the process, you’ll be the go-to person for the client and internal stakeholders and will regularly present results and progress to the involved stakeholders
    • Monitor performance on different media channels
    • You manage the campaigns from A to Z, from design to evaluation. You’ll perform A/B testing (what works, what doesn't?), analyze and evaluate and use learnings to develop even more effective campaigns, and you create & share insights with your colleagues, including making improvement proposals
    • Claim ownership of some projects within the digital domain
    • You’ll work on projects like responding to the cookie-free world and the rise of social media as an e-commerce platform.
