Requirements

We think you’ll be best geared for success if you can meet the following requirements:
• Minimum 5-8 years of strong experience with SAP BO BI Platform and Data Services
• Good working experience with Management Console and overall BO/BODS Landscape
• Strong Knowledge of Data Warehousing and Data Modelling
• Good understanding and experience of the SAP BO BI Platform
• Good understanding and experience of the SAP Data Services Products
• Good experience in Supporting of SAP BO Platform on premise solutions and optimization for performance
• Development experience in SAP BO/BODS, Data modelling, Reporting skills, Data Migration, IDT/universe changes, etc
• Experience in data extractions from SAP Extractors using SAP Data Services
• Experience in handling large volumes of data with SAP Data Services
• Experience in working with MS SQL databases
• Excellent command of the English language both written & spoken.

Responsibilities

Your new role and environment.
The goal of the function is to be part of one of the SAP Data Platform Scrum Teams taking over and delivering backlog items for the platforms of BO/BODS along with the existing team members.
As SAP BO/BODS Consultant, you’ll be joining our Data Insights & Analytics department.
The Data Insights & Analytics team of Ahold Delhaize BeCSE (Belgium, Central & Southeast Europe) is responsible for the design, configuration and operation of a multi-country Data Platform running on Azure and SAP.

Key responsibilities of your role.
• Maintaining and Support of highly available and fault tolerant BO/BODS systems.
• Understand customer requirement and then come up with designs based on best practices.
• Perform cyclic routines, like password changes, restart, cache cleanup, etc.
• Act as SME for BO/BODS end to end solution architecture.
• Preparation of design documents, functional documents, operational documents.
• Creating use/test cases from experiences for upgrade and other testing and support scenarios.
• Work with SAP Team on resolving more complicated issues.
• Ensuring that the critical applications are designed and optimized for high availability.
• Build canned and ad-hoc reports using Web Intelligence, Custom SDK reports on top of IDT and UDT based universes and/or Bex queries.
• Create analysis applications using Analysis for Office.
• Build interactive and complex dashboard solutions using SAP Dashboards.
• Develop and performance tune complex SQL scripts.
• Be on the forefront of learning and development by continuously acquiring and upgrading competencies in SAP BI.
• Evaluate new SAP BI technologies by building proof of concepts and demonstration.
