Job Description

Are you passionate about food safety? Do you have strong communication skills and are you highly organized? You could be the ideal colleague for the role of Quality and Food Safety Coordinator!

Join the team and you will be responsible with:

• Maintaining and improving the quality and food safety system in VAS;
• Maintaining the FSSC certification in VAS;
• Assuring QA support for all special projects in VAS;
• Training for all personnel working in VAS;
• Raw material suppliers evaluation and selection (responsible for supplier qualification standard implementation) for VAS activities;
• Performance monitoring of service providers (pest control, laboratory, cleaning substances) for VAS activities;
• Customer complaint managemenet for VAS activities;
• Acting as a point of contact for Sanitary Veterinary Inspectors for VAS activities;
• Supporting store operations (store visits)

Qualifications

To succeed in this role you will need:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position;
• University degree in food industry/veterinary medicine;
• Thorough knowledge of quality and food safety management - FSSC 22000 standard;
• Very good communication and collaboration skills with team members and other departments;
• Analytical, strong organizational skills and decision making ability;
• Managerial skills;
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package;
• Driving license;
