Test Engineer - Power Electronics

he Power Electronics Team from Vitesco Brasov is looking for a new collegue!

As part of the team you will be responsible of:

• Production test steps/stations which are designated by the team leader, such as: Flash, Functional test, Load test, Stress test, Final test, HV Test, EOL Test, P-EOL;
• Installation of the production equipment and preparation of validation procedures;
• Develop, implement, and maintain test cases using National Instruments TestStand to ensure comprehensive testing of hardware and software components;
• Customize hardware configurations to meet specific testing requirements, ensuring compatibility with TestStand and MES systems;
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for test procedures, hardware configurations, and integration processes;
• Develop test sytem in order to reach the quality targets in his/her processes according to the test specification;
• Ensures the R&R value of his/her processes after SOP;
• Transfer the project know-how to the team and to deliver trainings in specific areas.

What will you need to succeed:

• Master degree in a releated field (engineering / sciences) or an appropriate comparable development.
• Automation and Mechanics / Mechatronics Know-how;

• NI test stand, CANape communication knowledge;

• ICT experience with Keysight machines;

• Statistical and analytical skills;
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in automotive components production;
• Advanced knowlegde of English language.
