British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Office Coordinator in Bucharest.
The Facility Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of office spaces. This role involves managing building services, ensuring compliance with regulations, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining a high standard of workplace functionality and comfort.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Facility Operations & Maintenance:
- Manage routine maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and office infrastructure and ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.
2. Vendor & Contractor Management (together with Office manager)
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure service quality and coordinate with external contractors for major repairs and renovations.
3. Space Planning & Office Management
- Optimize office space utilization and seating arrangements and support office moves, expansions, and reconfigurations.
4. Budget & Cost Management
- Monitor and control costs for utilities, maintenance, and supplies and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
5. Sustainability & Compliance
- Implement sustainable practices to optimize energy efficiency and reduce waste and ensure compliance with local regulations.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in Facility management, office administration, or property management
- Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety).
- Familiarity with workplace health and safety regulations.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Advanced level of English & Romanian
- Bachelor's degree
- Driver's license (B category)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Facility Management is a plus.
- Experience with sustainability initiatives and green building practices.
- Familiarity with leasing agreements and property management.
