At Schaeffler Powertrain and Chassis we are increasing our team with an additional Software Technical Project Manager for Control systems. You will manage SW for a controller dedicated to diverse applications for current technologies and also for the future ones, Fuel Cell stack being one example with great potential.

As a Software Technical Project Manager, you will manage software projects developed within an multi-location, international team. You will be responsible for the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, scope and quality.

• Lead or contribute to quotation projects. Coordinate SW effort estimations for additional Change Requests;
• Create and maintain project documentation (Software Project Plan, Software Schedule etc.);
• Define the overall SW Project Planning. Define the content of each software release following regular alignments with internal and external stakeholders;
• Organize SW Milestone Reviews and support project Gate Reviews;
• Perform Software Change Management and Problem Resolution Management;
• Develop trustful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (incl. customers);
• Support the project budget definition. Define and plan both human and physical resources (samples, equipments, specific licences etc.);
• Identify and analyze project risks, define measures and monitor implementation. Escalate when necessary;
• Prepare and present internal and external project status reports;
• Cooordinate the introduction of the software project in production.

• You have previous Scrum Master / Product Owner / SW Project Management experience;
• You are well organized, detail-oriented and process driven;
• You are self-motivated, independent and possess good problem solving skills;
• You have strong written, verbal, presentation and overall communication skills;
• You are able to get a high-level understanding of how different SW functions work.
