Role Overview:
The DataScope suite of applications is part of our Pricing and Reference Service business. It is a respected application used in the wider finance industry where clients can do downloads of Pricing and Reference data in customized and standardized reports. The application has ~1200 external clients who consume financial data to analyse funds and the market position of global industry players.
In this role, you will be joining our Enterprise Data Solutions as a Project Manager: serving the entire spectrum of data needs across asset classes, latency and delivery mechanisms including real-time data and news, reference, and legal entity data.
Required to manage the development and delivery of features for a key revenue generating product. Includes management of all aspects across the full SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) including BAU activities, Service Improvements, KTLO and Client Enhancements. The role liaises closely with development, quality assurance, technical management and product owners to deliver these items successfully to high quality.
Main Responsibilities:
- Project planning, monitoring, tracking and reporting including multiple projects in parallel
- Budget and forecast management
- Resource Management across multiple zones (although not line management)
- Creation and Management of delivery plans and creation and maintenance of milestones
- Develop and maintain delivery roadmaps for the project
- Oversee planning, execution and monitoring on project activities and progress
- Set budgets, track forecasts
- Identify and mitigate risks, manage issues and change.
- Establish project governance
- Coordinate and collaborate across teams
Required Skills:
- Minimum 8 years project management experience across the full SDLC.
- Experience in financial market data or financial products is desired
- Experience in leading and managing large-scale programs using global resources
The role requires a lot of stakeholder engagement and the ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships especially with product owners and management is essential. The role serves as the main point of contact for the teams, regularly facilities meetings and running workshops where required.
It's essential to have good experience of preparing and presenting high quality presentations, reports and updates to senior management.
