Job Description
A Concept Engineer is part of the early phases of product development. They define product architecture, evaluate technical feasibility and act as a link between customer requirements and the hardware/software design and verification teams. Their work ensures that the final product aligns with technical, market and business needs.

As a student in our Summer Practice program, you would have the opportunity to work on IC development at architectural level by providing model-based proof of concept & feasibility studies on various blocks (e.g. Filters, signal paths, AD/DA converter, DSPs etc.) and mitigating measurement errors.

In this role, you will learn how to:

• Develop simulation models for various types of blocks used in sensors such as magnetic, pressure, among others
• Verify the models to validate the behavior and specifications
• Generate specifications to fulfill the overall product requirements
• Create scripts to analyze and interpret simulation and lab measurement results
• Develop models for compensation and calibration concepts

• Are in the third year of studies in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field
• Have basic knowledge with at least one programming language or knowledge of engineering simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink, SPICE)
• Have fundamental knowledge of analog and digital circuits
• Have fundamental knowledge of system and signal processing
• Have a structured and analytical working attitude
• Are able to explain a technical topic to a non-technical person
• Have an independent working style as well as enjoy collaboration
• Have a good command of English, both spoken and written
