Integrated Work System (Production) INTERNSHIP

What will you do?

•  This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn and immerse yourself in the principles of the Integrated Work System (IWS). You will gain hands-on experience in how IWS methodologies are applied on the production floor, while working closely with experienced technicians. This learning cycle will provide you with valuable insights into IWS principles, processes, and practices, helping you develop the skills to drive process improvements and contribute to a culture of growth and accountability within the team.
• Specific Duties: Learn and Support: Assist the Trainers/Coaches in delivering IWS training and supporting the application of IWS methodologies within the production environment.
• IWS Methodologies: Engage in comprehensive training sessions to understand and apply IWS principles, such as Run-to-Target (RTT), problem-solving, and continuous improvement techniques.
• Observe and Analyze: Gain exposure to production data analysis and learn how to identify performance gaps, analyze root causes of issues, and contribute to solutions that improve equipment and line performance.
• Assist with Coaching: Work alongside cross functional teams to support their development in applying IWS methodologies, producing reports, and contributing to cultural change on the shop floor.
• Support Training: Help deliver IWS-related training to shop floor members, ensuring that they understand and can apply the relevant principles to their daily work.
• Cultural Integration: Participate in the shift towards a more autonomous and collaborative work culture by learning about the importance of continuous improvement.

Who are we looking for?

• Final-year student or fresh graduate (preferably in Engineering or related field);
• Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• An interest in learning about continuous improvement practices (e.g., KAIZEN, TPM).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, both verbal and written;
• Strong analytical and organizational skills;
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large sets of data;
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI is a plus;
• Language: Fluency in Romanian and English.

• Full time program: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.
• Salary (gross): 5500 lei/month
• Period: July 1 – September 30, 2025
• Location: JTI Romania Manufacturing : Bucharest, Dimitrie Pompei 9-9A.
