Requirements.

We think you’ll be best geared for success if you can meet the following requirements:



Around 3-5 years of experience with NodeJS/Typescript and React;
Working on frontend components is as exciting as working on backend functionalities;
You are familiar with the Open-source developer portal CNCF Backstage;
You thrive to improve the developer experience and driving our engineering excellence throughout AH Tech and beyond;
You are not afraid of gathering feedback from the engineering community and continuously challenge and improve the company self-service capabilities;
You can explain the purpose of a developer portal and self-service and motivate our engineering community to use the portal;
You have experience with Azure, PostgreSQL Open-source tooling, and Kubernetes;
You understand the challenges of DevOps teams and want to provide them with innovative solutions that enable the teams to make a big step towards self-service capabilities.

It goes without saying that so-called ‘soft skills’ are just as important as their ‘hard’ cousins. We highly value:

Your new role and environment.

As an Engineer for Beast Portal within Engineering Enablement, you are responsible for the design and development of our Engineering portal and bringing it to the next level. The Beast Portal team is responsible for providing our engineers with the best developer experience in the world. The Beast Portal is our one-stop-shop for engineers that ties all infrastructure tooling, resources, standards, owners, contributors, and administrators in one place. You will work with users and contributors of the Beast Portal throughout the whole organization to fit your ideas into the bigger picture.

Key responsibilities of your role.

Build our Cloud products, technical platforms, or paved roads with state-of-the-art technology.
You are experienced in your field and will help decide the best technical architecture and solutions for our complete organization.
Being part of the larger enablement community and helping us get better every day.
Working with an “open-source and build yourself” mentality in a corporate environment: inner-sourcing.
