    Role Description:

    Are you an experienced analyst with a passion for fraud monitoring within a Security Operations environment? Do you want to apply your expertise to investigate and resolve cyber security incidents, and lead the development of standard methodologies in fraud monitoring? If so, we'd love to talk to you.

    The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is a global leader in financial market infrastructure, with a large and diverse portfolio of data, products, and services. We are seeking to recruit a Fraud Monitoring Analyst who will play a key role in our Global Security Operations Centre.

    In this role, you will apply your expertise in fraud monitoring principles to investigate fraud incidents, taking ownership of priority cases and resolve blocking issues. You will work closely with the Fraud Lead to establish and continually improve fraud monitoring best practices, adapting to the evolving fraud landscape.

    You will have access to an enviable array of tools, systems, and platforms, and will collaborate with an extended group of security experts within the Global Security Operations Centre. Additionally, you will work with other technical teams, including those outside of Global Security Operations, to ensure comprehensive security measures.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Be the main point of contact for Fraud incidents and complex fraud investigations, alongside the Fraud Lead.
    • Support the Fraud Lead in the establishing a dedicated fraud monitoring service, including the integration of existing security solutions.
    • Be actively involved in the development of the standard methodologies, developing processes and procedures, including alignment to the event monitoring and case management tools.
    • Support the development of proactive fraud intelligence practices within the Global Security Operations Centre.
    • Develop standard processes for data collection and develop ongoing improvement through performance indicators and reporting.

    Candidate Profile / Key Skills:

    Required:

    • Demonstrable experience in a similar role, preferably in a highly regulated, multinational financial services organisation.
    • Experience working within a Global Security Operations Centre.
    • Ability to establish and develop performance indicators and report across technical and business partner groups.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Understanding of the unique challenges in preserving the integrity of dynamic, highly regulated multinational organisation.

    Nice to Have:

    • Familiarity with the latest fraud monitoring tools and technologies.
    • Deep understanding of developing monitoring and detection improvements in an operations environment.
    • Good understanding of fraud intelligence services, log monitoring techniques, event management tools, and cyber security concepts.
    • Superb communication and teamwork skills.
