Responsibilities:
Report and Dashboard Management:
- Maintain and create various reports in Excel and Power BI.
- Develop dashboards using DAX programming language for mathematical logic and KPIs.
- Translate regular reports from Excel into Power BI.
Business Intelligence and Automation:
- Utilize Power Automate and Power Query to enhance automation and reporting capabilities.
- Implement business intelligence processes at an operational level, presenting and leading automation initiatives.
- Convert business requirements into detailed IT specifications and actionable KPIs.
Support and Expertise:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for dashboards and automation, providing guidance and support to the Business Unit and stakeholders.
- Resolve complex report discrepancies and issues.
- Provide training and support to junior team members.
Collaboration and Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with other departments and cross-functional teams to streamline reporting processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Create necessary documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical manuals for automations.
Qualifications:
Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Proficiency in Power Automate, Power Query, and Power BI DAX programming language.
- Experience with Big Data Analytics.
Experience and Education:
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, specializing in automation and standardization within a Project Management framework.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics or equivalent working experience.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for direct and virtual collaboration.
- Good presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a customer/service-driven environment, both individually and as a team player.
Process Improvement and Documentation:
- Experience in developing comprehensive training materials for new processes and tools.
- Creating detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for automated reporting tasks.
- Designing Process Maps to illustrate current and future states of reports (as-is vs to-be).
Soft Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent time management and task organizing abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive attitude in identifying and implementing solutions.
- Initiative for continuous improvement of processes, quality, and efficiency.
- Internal motivation, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and focus on delivering results.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
