Fresh Graduate Program -Technical Analyst - Oracle

In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve from simple to complex technical issues concerning Oracle WebLogic Application Server & related technologies, or developer tools-related issues (Oracle Forms / Reports, Oracle Rest Data Services, Visual Builder Cloud, Oracle Machine Learning, etc.). The role might require your flexibility to work in weekends and public holidays.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
Technical
Knowledge in Administration and Configuration of Application Servers (WebLogic / JBoss / WebSphere, etc.)
Basic understanding and experience with technologies such as Java, JSP / Servlets, EJB, JMS, Java Security; Web Services; JVM; Cluster Technologies, JDBC, and DataSources
Knowledge on JVM (Java Virtual Machine) Tuning, Performance Tuning, Clustering & Advanced Security is an advantage
Familiar with operating systems (Linux, Solaris), networking, and database
Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
Exposure to other Oracle Middleware Products or Cloud computing services delivered by Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure Cloud, Cloud Foundry, Salesforce & Oracle Cloud, is considered a plus
Customer Management
Ability to understand customer problem and provide technical solution in timely manner.
Ability to understand customer urgency and sensitivity of problem.
Ability to view customer situation holistically instead of just single transaction.
Ability to speak confidently and communicate clearly with customer and customer management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to coordinate Support across Line of Business within the Organization.
Proven skill in managing customer & internal stakeholder communication on Critical/Hot Escalation, including communication to upper Management with status reports and timely situation assessment and updates.

Responsibilities

As a Support Engineer, you will be the technical interface to customers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) for resolution of problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance and use of Oracle products. Your primary task will be to provide support to customers who contact the Oracle Solution Center and maintain high level of customer satisfaction while meeting guidelines (mostly through electronic means). Able to work with general guidance from senior support engineers and management and, in some areas, may work independently. Solutions often take time to develop through research, collaboration or problem replication.
