    Requirements

    Mandatory Skills:

    - Working knowledge in Linux/Unix Systems administration, implementation, ongoing administration.
    - Working knowledge of common scripting languages. (Perl, Shell, Python, PHP)
    - Working knowledge of SQL database services.
    - Knowledge of TCP/IP Client/Server development.

    Educational Requirements:

    - Must be studying towards Bachelor or Master level degree in Computer Science or Informatics.

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Provides direct support of game and web development environments. (Focus is on Linux with some Windows 2008, network and proprietary applications)
    - Designs and develops extensive scripting and other automation tasks.
    - Partners with development, QA, DBAs and other administrators to develop and implement improved deployment practices
    - Setup and maintains monitoring systems. (OpenNMS, Splunk, Cacti, Nagios, Orion, etc)
    - Maintains documentation of systems configurations and procedures, including runbooks for live support (Confluence experience is an asset).
