Internship Position - Procurement and Purchasing Organization Associate

Requirements

o Student within Polytechnics University - (preferably) in terminal year(s) of study;
o Basic knowledge and interest in current trends and practices in Supply Chain;
o Motivation to learn and develop as professional in procurement/purchasing area;
o Very good PC skills – MS Office (Access & Excel - mandatory);
o English knowledge – good level (speaking, writing);
o Customer orientation;
o Communicate effectively verbally and in writing;
o Ability to carry out assigned projects to completion;
o Proactive attitude

Responsibilities

The position holder is responsible for aligning department needs in the process of tool development with the scope of improving the management of approved suppliers.

Specific Duties:
o Gets acquainted and understands basic principles of procurement in JTI;
o Processes services and materials requirements in SAP;
o Creation/modification of vendors in Vendor Creation Application (VCA);
o Aligns in terms of specific requirements of the tool with all procurement team members;
o Drafts and builds the tool according to the above.

o Induction in JTI
o On-the-job training (SAP PRD, Vendor Portfolio Management, Negotiation skills);
o Other specific trainings – based on requirements identified

Commitment: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
Period: July 10th - September 18th
