    Qualifications


    You should be studying towards a Bachelor of Science or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related fields. Additional qualifications include:
    - Solid understanding of electronics and power concepts
    - Experience in applied electronics and understanding of electronic schematics
    - Ability to run various industry standard benchmarks on client and server platforms and provide analysis to internal customers
    - Familiarity with Intel microprocessors architectures
    - Experience with analog and digital signal acquisition, power measurements and validation is a definite plus
    - Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
    - Knowledge of test tools such as logic analyzers and oscilloscopes is considered a plus
    - Programming/scripting knowledge is considered a plus
    - Good analytical skills, self-starter, fast learner
    - Good command of English
    - Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Responsibilities

    Description

    You will have the opportunity to work in the System Technologies and Optimization Power team. In this position you will be responsible for collecting power and performance measurements in a lab environment, analyzing software behavior and characterizing it with respect to power consumption.
    Analysis of today's industry standard benchmarks and leading software applications is important in designing future processors and platforms. The key outcome is to provide valuable data to software, architecture and design teams across Intel in order to accelerate and improve the design of Intel(R) products.
