Personal skills:

Technical skills:
Ø The ability to understand and debug 4G networks from the UE all the way back into the packet Core, or the proven ability to rapidly build that level of expertise.
Ø Experience of the entire software lifecycle
Ø Excellent trouble shooting, debug and integration skills
Ø Experience in design and development of secure real time systems using the Linux OS with a special, proven ability to work in a multi-threaded environment

Desired Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)
Ø Knowledge of layer 1 to layer 3 LTE (and UMTS) protocols:
Ø Knowledge of telecoms operation management systems
Ø Experience of customer premise equipment hardware debug, including RF
Ø Configuration management, ideally using Clearcase / Clearquest
Ø Experience of working as part of a multi-site design and product development team

Responsibilities

- Working on innovative wireless telecoms products, you will be responsible for the debug, integration and delivery of customer requested features, often to short timescales. You will primarily concentrate on the integration phase of the product lifecycle, although exposure to the other phases are also anticipated.
- You will interact closely with system, development and test engineers sited around the world.
- You must be able to work as part of a self directed team that includes best in class developers with varied backgrounds in software development: RTOS, embedded, Protocols, Layers L1, L2, L3, Call Processing etc. Your current particular area of deep expertise is far less important than a desire to learn from experts on the team and to grow others in your areas of expertise.
