Requirements

• Students or Graduates in Computer Science and/or IT related field
• Knowledge of object oriented programming, algorithms and software architecture, knowledge of databases, good experience in XML, SQL, HTML,CSS
• Familiarity with Cloud Computing paradigms is a big plus.
• Good communication skills, able to articulate key messages very clearly.
• Openness to work with different languages and cultures (you will support Western European Countries)
• Ability to work in (virtual) teams. To get a specific job done often requires working together with many colleagues spread out in different countries & continents.
• Team spirit
• Self-motivated, you have the natural drive to learn and pick up new challenges.
• Most important is an eagerness to learn! You enjoy the challenge of getting to master new products in a very short time frame
• Fluency (verbal & written) in English & French.

Responsibilities

Presales is the function that provides product expertise to sales, customers & partners in Oracle. Oracle has a large community of presales consultants across EMEA that on a daily bases engage in tasks such as:

*Responding to tenders and technical questions about Oracle’s cloud delivery services,
*Prepare proof of concepts and communicate technology solutions,
*Prepare product demonstrations & presentations,
*Advice customers & partners on how to best use Oracle products,
*Research and learn on emerging technologies and processes,
*Interact with product development & strategy about new releases, new functionalities,
*Project ownership of initiatives supporting the selling of Oracle’s cloud solutions.

The languages supported by the centre are: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Dutch. For this role fluency (verbal & written) in English & French is a must.

As a presales consultant intern you have the chance to develop in a very broad professional spectrum, ranging from product expertise, customer interaction, communication and general IT market knowledge. Successful presales consultants are highly demanded individuals with the possibility to develop a career in many different IT (and non-IT) functions.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop and combine Applications Technology skills with sales communication in a young, dynamic, multi-lingual and motivated team. The internship may result into a full-time permanent role.

Even though this is an internship, you will be given a great deal of responsibility. For example, you will be given the task of meeting a variety of senior solution consultants on Oracle cloud services portfolio to contribute to the sales cycle projects, to present your deliverables and ask for guidance and advice.
