Requirements

Qualifications

The following qualifications and skills are desirable:
- Technical University degree (Telecommunication or Computer Science)
- Relevant experience related to the above requirements
- Knowledge of telecom protocols on-air interface
- IP knowledge
- Fault management & performance management knowledge
- Customer orientated, team spirit, analytical and synthetic person, good communication skills
- Available for international travel (worldwide missions) up to 70% of time
- English written and spoken - advanced (mandatory)
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Able to work in a team as well as autonomous in the job
- UNIX, SUN OS/Solaris and SUN servers/workstation knowledge is a bonus
- LTE/SC/GSM/WCDMA products & features knowledge is a bonus

Responsibilities

Description

The First-Off Application (FOA) is the last testing phase prior new product or release is declared available worldwide for every customers at DR5 (when product is ready for massive deployment for all customers)
FOA activity focuses on the Introduction of a new Product or Release in a Live Commercial network and has the following missions and responsibilities:
- preparation, management and execution of FO for the new Hardware and Software products delivered
- support to the execution and management of the Field Trial and Early Adopter projects
- provide early feedback for improvements of new functionality into design teams

Job responsibilities:

- responsible for preparation and on-site execution of a given axis
- contributes to FOA strategy and write test cases (regression and/or new features)
- First-off tests plan dry run on the internal FOA lab platforms prior to go on site
- detailed technical investigations for open cases and follow up through Clarify
- ensure test cases exit criteria are met
- results analysis and daily reporting on test progress through tracking sheet contribution to the final report
