Optymyze provides enterprise cloud applications for improving sales and channel performance. The Optymyze platform includes incentive compensation and sales performance management applications for executing sales and channel strategies; driving desired selling behaviors; enabling people to produce better results; and using business intelligence to analyze and improve performance.
Requirements
- Experience leading projects, engaging with, and driving change across diverse, cross functional teams; in addition, experience working on teams that are virtual and geographically dispersed desired.
- Minimum of 2 years experience doing marketing or product marketing for enterprise software products and/or strategic outsourcing Services Company.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in creating sales tools, marketing collateral, and other public / prospect facing materials with a technology company.
- Demonstrated capacity to distill complex, business and technical concepts into clear, simple messages; experience supporting or messaging sales performance management products or services is a big plus.
- Strong written communication and presentation skills required; demonstrated ability to write on a deadline.
- Ability to be comfortable multitasking between multiple projects.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software and SaaS technologies; understanding of sales performance management, sales compensation and/or sales operations technology is ideal.
- Understanding of platform-as-a-service (PaaS) technologies a valuable plus.
- Ability to work virtually as part of a global team; ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- BA / BS degree in business or marketing.
Responsibilities
- Sales Enablement: Work with the sales and marketing team to create sales tools which can drive sales of both enterprise software products and outsourced strategic services. Types of materials can include slide sets, marketing collateral, whitepapers and videos.
- Demand Creation: Work with marketing team on programs and marketing collateral that will help to increase the marketing pipeline for Optymyze products and services.
- Market Awareness: Work with marketing team and public relations agency to develop programs and materials which will build market awareness of Optymyze in the market.
- Competitive Analysis: Maintain an outside-in-view at all times and keep a close tab on competitive movements in the market related to the leading competitors in the sales performance (SPM) market.
- Messaging and Positioning: Work cross-functionally with members of the Products, Marketing and Executive team to assist in the creation and refining of messaging for Optymyze products and services.
