Job description
Are you an ambitious software developer who wants to work in a highly skilled and inspiring team? Do you want to contribute to developing software that will enable Visma to give the best possible support to our hundreds of thousands customers?

We are looking for 2 software developers to work on solutions important to Visma’s communication strategy. With an increasing number of customers on our cloud solutions, we must ensure that our customers are able to find the information they need, we must offer “self-service” support. All other products depend on this to succeed!

Our team is delivering both the customer facing part of the self-service support tool, and the backend support ticketing solution used internally. This is an exciting long-term project suited for software developers who excel finding innovative solutions and enjoy working closely with the support organisation to find ways of optimizing and automating processes.

You will be hired in the Product Unit in the Software division, you will work in an international team with colleagues in Romania, Sweden and Norway. You will be working in an agile team that follows scrum and that interacts daily - and where your opinion counts.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following areas:
Develop, implement and maintain new features of Visma’s Support solution
Deliver unit and API tests to the products automated regression test suite
Plan and estimate new features
Quickly learn new technologies, always keeping abreast of current trends in your field

What you bring to the role:
Degree in Computer Science or relevant education/experience
Experience as a software developer working with .Net and Microsoft’s web stack: ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API
Knowledge of design patterns and web design frameworks
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
Experience with web development and HTML5/CSS/JavaScript is an advantage
Knowledge about unit testing, web application testing tools and JavaScript testing frameworks is a plus

Conditions:
