Cerinte

-Computer Science or related university studies
-Good programming skills in at least 2 of the following languages (C, C++, Java, C#)
-Basic understanding of processor architectures (Intel, ARM)
-Basic platform understanding at both hardware and software levels
-Platform setup, troubleshooting and debugging knowledge
-Basic knowledge of at least one scripting language
-Analytical skills with detail orientation
-Good technical communication skills
-Fast learning and proactivity

Responsabilitati

You will work in a team that contributes to maintaining Intel Architecture lead. The group is focused on performance analysis and prediction on all market segments where Intel is a key player. You will need to analyze how a given software utilizes the available hardware resources and highlight any observable performance bottleneck (hardware, operating system, application). The daily tasks include: application profiling and characterization, plugin development for platform simulators, microbenchmark coding or cross-platform porting, application optimizations, performance measurement and automation, etc.

You will work with cutting edge platforms like multi socket servers, HPC co-processors, personal computing and IoT devices. You will connect with highly skilled engineers in all Intel's locations.
