Therefore we always go for the extra mile to deliver the best IT&C talent for your business, no matter how challenging the project may seem.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Essential:
    - Demonstrable experience developing modern, web oriented applications and supporting infrastructure
    - Thorough knowledge of Javascript, with a good understanding of SQL and message orientated architectures
    - Able to mentor and develop new staff, communicating both positive and negative feedback in a constructive fashion
    - Able to prioritise effectively in a fast moving environment

    Desirable:
    - Experience of working with RabbitMQ/AMQP
    - Experience of working in a regulated financial environment

We work on a fully Javascript stack, with individual Node JS based microservices connected by a RabbitMQ message bus. Our website will shortly be relaunched as a universal, ES6/7 React powered application. However, familiarity with our exact technologies is less important than a demonstrable commitment to delivering good quality code within agreed timeframes.

    DESCRIPTION

Our client is a young but rapidly growing financial institution. In just 4 years they have grown to 80+ staff and €200M+ in annual transactions, with more than half a million customers. Our client is now recognised as the market leader in continental Europe for regulated online trading. They are at an exciting stage as they diversify into new markets and develop innovative new Fintech products.
They are now recruiting for a Senior Developer to join their team in Vienna, Austria.
Our client is currently transitioning to a robust, microservice orientated architecture to lay the foundations for their growth, and they seek an experienced individual to play a crucial role in building their next generation of tools. As a financial institution they are committed to developing secure and highly reliable systems, which combine excellent usability with a robust, high performance infrastructure. But as a startup they aren’t constrained by legacy infrastructure or internal bureaucracy, and this role is an excellent opportunity to shape their future!
As well as their modern customer-facing web apps, they also develop substantial internal products for their staff, including a custom CRM (with VOIP integration), BI/reporting dashboards, as well as compliance and audit tools. Your role will include all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from initial conception through development and to public launch.

    Responsibilities:
    - Development of new products and maintenance of existing codebase
    - Providing technical leadership as the company evolves
    - Mentoring and guiding junior staff
    - Deployment and supervision of production services
